Sigamani telephones Karpagam and then comes to her house. Shekar and Karpagam advice him to tell the truth in court that Anjali is behind the assault committed on Shekar.
sigamani who looks reformed tells them that if he tells the truth then Anjali will kill him. He tells them to wait till the court sends him summons.
Anjali meets sigamani and gives him Rs.10/- lakhs to run away for some days until the case gets over. Sigamani for once dreams of being a rich man.
Manohar and Shekar too come to meet him.
Anajli decides to fight her case with a best criminal lawyer and meets him.
Both Anjali and Karpagam recieve summons on the Divorce case of Padma. Both give their statments to the judge and the judge is in favour of not granting divorce.
Padma goes to temple and prays God for the well-being of Anjali.
Shekar reveals to Anjali that he knows that she has met Sigamani to get favour but tells Anjali that he will certainly send her to jail and then will find out Panjali in her absence and will fix her in the kidnapping case. Anjali looks stunned.
