If you become health conscious then you can come out of your alcholic habits. Unless you care for your body it is very difficult to turn around from your habits. Maybe you can concentrate on other interesting things and make yourself busy during the time when you get urge for drinking.
Don't buy drinks. This will be helpful.
More about alcoholic.. By drinking alcoholic people feel a floating sensation. This is equal to finding bliss in meditation. People who have worries are able to forget the torture of worries by drinking, since by drinking their thinking power is reduced and so are their worries.
One of my friend for the sake of meditating without body pain takes a little alcoholic.
There are persons who are so habituated to drinking that right during conversation they vanish inside their room, have a sip, and return. These types of people spoil their liver and never intake enough food, they never feel the appetite to eat food. Death does embrace them very early in their life.
Finally the one important thing to overcome drinking habits resides in your own will power. To stress this that you will not drink you could do this.
Take a book and start writing that you will drink only 3 bottles today and drink only 3 bottles.
Next day again write in the book that you will drink only 2 3/4 of bottle and drink only that much.
Again next day write in the book you would take 2 bottle then one bottle then 10 sips, five sips, two sips, one sips daily and then leave it completely. in this way go on reducing the intake and completely wipe out the habit of drinking.
Writing and then following it with action has great force.
